Enquiries stay stored in this site's database and, for the contact forms, are copied into a Google Sheets spreadsheet for internal use by our sales office.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<h2>Why we process this data<\/h2>\n\t\t<ul>\n\t\t\t<li>reply to requests for information and quotations;<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>provide technical support to existing customers;<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>ensure the operation and security of the site;<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>measure how the site and our advertising campaigns are performing;<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>comply with legal obligations, in particular accounting and tax ones.<\/li>\n\t\t<\/ul>\n\n\t\t<h2>Legal basis<\/h2>\n\t\t<p>Under art. 6 of the GDPR we process data on the basis of:<\/p>\n\t\t<ul>\n\t\t\t<li><strong>Performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures<\/strong> (art. 6(1)(b)) \u2014 to reply to requests for quotations or information and for technical support to customers.<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li><strong>Legal obligation<\/strong> (art. 6(1)(c)) \u2014 for tax and accounting obligations, such as keeping invoices.<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li><strong>Legitimate interest<\/strong> (art. 6(1)(f)) \u2014 for the site's IT security, the prevention of fraudulent activity and for the server-side measurement described below.<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li><strong>Consenso<\/strong> (art. 6(1)(a)) \u2014 for the measurement and advertising cookies described in the following section.<\/li>\n\t\t<\/ul>\n\n\t\t<h2>Cookies and measurement tools<\/h2>\n\t\t<p>The site uses <strong>essential cookies<\/strong>, necessary for it to work: they manage the session, the language choice and the list of machines you build up before requesting a quotation. These do not require your consent.<\/p>\n\t\t<p>The site also uses <strong>third-party tools that install measurement and advertising cookies<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\t\t<ul>\n\t\t\t<li><strong>Meta Pixel<\/strong> (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) \u2014 measures visits and conversions coming from Facebook and Instagram and enables advertising retargeting.<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li><strong>Google Analytics 4<\/strong>, loaded through <strong>Google Tag Manager<\/strong> (Google Ireland Ltd.) \u2014 site usage statistics.<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li><strong>Google Ads<\/strong> \u2014 measurement of advertising campaign conversions.<\/li>\n\t\t<\/ul>\n\t\t<p>You can block or delete cookies at any time from your browser settings; some site functions may then be limited.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<h2>Server-side measurement<\/h2>\n\t\t<p>When you send a contact form or a quotation request, our server tells Meta directly that an enquiry has arrived, through the <strong>Conversions API<\/strong>. It is an exchange between our systems and Meta's: it does not pass through the browser and does not use cookies, so it <strong>happens even if you have refused profiling cookies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\t\t<p>At that point your IP address, your browser type, and your email address and phone number are transmitted <strong>protected with a hash function<\/strong> (SHA-256): we do not send them in the clear, but they remain data that allow Meta to recognise a contact it already knows. It serves to know how many enquiries come from our campaigns, not to show you advertising.<\/p>\n\t\t<p>The legal basis is our legitimate interest in measuring the effectiveness of our advertising. <strong>You have the right to object at any time<\/strong>, by writing to <a href=\"mailto:commerciale@tecnoastepangroup.com\">commerciale@tecnoastepangroup.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<h2>Who we share the data with<\/h2>\n\t\t<p>The data may be processed on our behalf by:<\/p>\n\t\t<ul>\n\t\t\t<li>the supplier who hosts the site and looks after its technical maintenance;<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>Google Ireland Ltd., for statistics and advertising services and for the spreadsheet the forms feed into;<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., for the measurement of advertising campaigns, including the server-side communication described above.<\/li>\n\t\t<\/ul>\n\t\t<p>Google and Meta may transfer data to the United States, on the basis of the safeguards provided for in Chapter V of the GDPR. The data is not passed to third parties for commercial purposes other than those described here.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<h2>How we protect the data<\/h2>\n\t\t<p>The data is processed with electronic tools and security measures adequate to prevent unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. Only authorised staff have access to it.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<h2>How long we keep it<\/h2>\n\t\t<ul>\n\t\t\t<li>contact and quotation requests: up to 24 months from the last exchange, unless the relationship continues;<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>administrative and tax data: 10 years, as required by law;<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>browsing data and technical logs: a few days, unless needed for investigation in the event of a security incident;<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>data collected by the measurement tools: according to the retention periods set on the respective platforms.<\/li>\n\t\t<\/ul>\n\n\t\t<h2>Your rights<\/h2>\n\t\t<p>At any time you may:<\/p>\n\t\t<ul>\n\t\t\t<li>access your data and know how we process it;<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>ask for it to be corrected or updated;<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>ask for it to be deleted;<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>ask for processing to be restricted, or object on legitimate grounds;<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>receive your data in a machine-readable format;<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li>withdraw consent already given, without this affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.<\/li>\n\t\t<\/ul>\n\t\t<p>To exercise them, write to <a href=\"mailto:commerciale@tecnoastepangroup.com\">commerciale@tecnoastepangroup.com<\/a>.
